I Could Write a Book

   I love Mondays ! Isn’t that a trip ? I’m so opposite of the average person, in many ways. You ask, "why does she love Mondays ? " Well, let me tell you why.

     I love Mondays because that means my house is going to be quiet again. It means that once I’m home from the normal Monday stuff that I can clean in peace and quiet. It seems that I "catch up" a lot on Mondays. Remember that laundry issue ? Well, that’s one of the reasons I love Monday so much. I get to get it all done. It seems that I cook more on Mondays, too. Maybe that’s because I’m tired of eating out on the weekends. Who knows ? We could analyze that to death, for sure.

    Also, Mondays stand for "me time". Woohoo ! If moma "ain’t" happy, "ain’t" nobody happy and I don’t know of a family where that applies more. Lol. On Mondays, I get to do tennis. My all time favorite passion in life. Yes, I love tennis that much. I’ve got this saying "tennis is my prozac, sushi is my crack".  (We’ll hit the sushi addiction in a later post). I’ve been without my dear tennis for about 3 months, now. It feels so good to be back at it. Even when I fall flat on my butt. Lol. Yeap, that happened today. I’ve been out with an ankle injury and when I felt my ankle "going" today I just let it go and fell on my right side and butt. I think I took about 10 years off of my tennis partner’s life. I was fine, other than my pride that is.

    Also, Mondays nights are just for me and my children. My husband has a class that he goes to every Monday night and it is fun just to have that special one-on-one time with them. It seems much less chaotic when it is just us at home. Ever noticed that ? That when the "daddy" is home things are just a tad more wild and tons more noisy.

    I would say that the main reason I love Mondays is because it is a fresh start to the week and I think "maybe this week will be the week that I keep it all together". (snort). When that happens I’ll be sure and post about it.
